My wife and I had been considering adding an addition to our home as our children’s families began to grow. We happened upon Sunroom Escapes at the 2008 Des Moines Home and Family Show and were immediately impressed with salesman’s integrity and his willingness to offer a walk-through of a finished sunroom similar to the size we were interested in. The homeowner allowed us to view the room and answered questions regarding his experience with Sunroom Escapes favorably.

The owner met with us to discuss our wants and offered several beneficial suggestions that ultimately led to what has become the entire family’s favorite room. He led us through the contract, the timing of the construction process and who would perform each portion.

All phases of the actual construction came off without a hitch. All the subs were professional, honest and clean. Even with our wet spring, the total construction phase took only two weeks to complete.

My husband and I had been considering building an addition to our home for several months. After much discussion, we decided on a four-seasons sunroom. We interviewed several companies, and we were most pleased with Sunroom Escapes and the options they provided. We were impressed with the owner’s professionalism, knowledge, and willingness to work closely with us on our ideas. He was not pushy at all, and did a wonderful job of following up with us as we were finalizing details and making our decision. He even came to our house on a Saturday afternoon to go over every detail of the contract with us. We were also given the opportunity to walk through a recently completed sunroom of the same size that we were considering. This helped us better visualize our room and allowed us to speak directly with another customer to get their feedback on the product and the company.

Once the construction began, the project took only 5 days from start to finish. The contractors were very professional, cleaned up the yard and construction area, and explained to us what to expect each day. Rick, the owner of Sunroom Escapes, either called or stopped by our house daily to check on the status and to keep us apprised of the progress. All phases of the project occurred as planned, and we are very pleased that we selected Sunroom Escapes to build what is now our favorite room in the house!

From our first meeting with Rick at a home show I knew he was one of two
that I would allow to come into our home for a presentation.  He was quick
to respond to our interests and desires and made his presentation without
wasting our time, that I appreciated.  We checked his references and
toured one of his recently completed 4 season rooms and placed our order
with him.

Our 4 season room has been a hit with our family from day one, without a
doubt it is our favorite room whether it be spring, summer, fall or
winter.  Everyone always moves to this room as it is so relaxing, inviting
and beautiful.

The construction process went very well as his crew really customized the
room for us.  Rick checked with us nearly every day via phone or on site,
it’s really nice dealing with the owner of the company and how often does
that happen any more?

Without question, our sun room has been one of the best investments we
have made in years.
